| "The moment you fear someone, you become a nobody!" |
She was tempted to just stand there, not doing anything. But she knew that she would regret that later. She shut her eyes while she tried to think of one of the self-defense moves she'd learnt a few months ago. And in what seemed like eternity, she mustered all her strength and courage. She took support of him by placing her hands on his shoulders. She then lifted her knee and plunged it hard into his groin. He bent over and then fell to the ground. She pulled his head up and using the heel of her trembling hand, she delivered an expert jab in his face. She hoped that he was seeing his whole life flash before his eyes. But ofcourse, she wasn't done yet. Plus, it wasn't that simple. As an added measure, she dug into her bag for her pepper spray and sprayed it all over his face. He grabbed her leg as she tried to run away. A kick in the face saw that he let go.
She bolted out of the door and locked it from outside. She could practically see her knees knocking together while her eyes welled up with tears. This was the first time something like this happened to her. But she was glad that she was strong enough to get through those few moments of trouble. She had now learnt her lesson: to be bold and strong.
Without turning back and without a second thought, she dashed out onto the busy (and now hazy) street in search of a telephone booth.

Nice one Eev! i likes what she did.:) and the picture aptly speaks up for her.
